Had an interest in introspect and intellect
Kid's a vet, taking it on the chin from stress
Gets bullied and made fun of for how he dressed
"This is what I wanna wear, don't like, don't care"
Favorite rapper was avante-garde, wanted to be his heir
It was weird watching hisself change grades started going down
On his block its going down, dopeboys peddling they dope around
He would sit there with his headset, zoned out
Looking for a zone of thought to own now
A beatbox from a Bus, making its way curbside
The city made its own music to his third eye
Art would unfold through life before he got to classes
Developing his third eye maybe yours needs glasses
He doodles in a composition notebook with fancy words
At first glance he's herb just wants a chance to be heard
Parents fight all the time and let the television raise him
Thanks reality Tv is reality, childish infatuations
With things like infinity, things that can't be proved
Daydreams of the continuum its precious time he'd lose
The kid's a Gemini obsessed with arguing and duality
First one to lunch, beatboxing like, "wanna battle me".
Had alot of friends but none of the chicks were feeling him
Body image issues....his favorite rapper then was
Canibus or Eminem, experimenting Mary Jane
Had a growing affinity for cannibus and M&M's
While he was ditching class to the bodega for his favorite candy
His mom would be in the crib slumped drunk off her favorite brandy
Still loves her just hates her man, he was quite abusive
Will that kid in me ever grow up, its quite allusive, get it
In the story line what you getting is free
Its not really a story the lil' kid in it's me
