We fought like noble Marines
Fighting Irish mad because fighting's in our genes
I'm addicted to America and her colorful scenes
Yes, I think addiction is powerful pain
Pretending everything's fine but the lie is a strain
Hard to maintain the little honesty you have
Drown myself in the bath, laugh
Like this is all conjecture that never plays out
It isn't practical, escape, find new ways out

It's not right, not even fair but it happens

It's so lights, cameras, actions
It's the new Hollywood thriller, sing and play instruments
With serial killers sipping Miller Lite
Trying to live up to Dahmer's hype
Look in the mirror to tell your reflection
"We're not alike"... the high fades
Back to your socially awkward life
