Wow, I really don't understand the hatred for this game, with (slamming!) reviews from videogamecritic.net and Digital Press, as I'm really hooked on this Tetris version, for some reason! Mad screen flicker? Just use a colorful overlay, like Scramble; problem solved. I barely have any problems with it, and plus, this is the only game on this compilation with a pause feature. So use the overlay and the pause button to look away and let your eyes focus on something else further away occasionally, just like when you're using a computer for too long.

Ok, now onto the review...this is, of course, the classic game where you utilize shapes to try to create a solid horizontal line; accomplish this, and the line will disappear, fail too often, and once the shapes make it to the top of the screen, the game is over.

I don't know why I play this game so damn much, it's the basic, "no frills" Tetris, where, unlike the great arcade original, there's no bonuses and visible jumps to other levels, it's just one long level here. I usually hate versions like this, but what's the difference with THIS one? I dunno, maybe it's because it's on the Vectrex? Might be a psychological (sp?) thing.

Use an overlay, you might still enjoy this one. Nah nah nah.
