Spike's Water Balloons is a clone of Kaboom! for multiple systems and some other game known as Mad Bomber, where a bomber drops bombs and you have to be careful to...not drop them yourself, either.

Rather than having the original's three buckets, you have Spike's head instead, which isn't very large. You can kick balloons back up the screen if you miss one, but it's usually too late by then, and you'll lose a turn; lose three turns and it's game over, and I don't think there's a way to get a chance back.

I loved the original Atari 2600 Kaboom!, but this one is more difficult and not as satisfying, and the pauses in between rounds and lives isn't necessary (especially since the 2600 version didn't have those). Molly is there only to say "oh no!" (in text, though, not in voice) when you miss a balloon, and that's it.

There's nothing really wrong with this game or anything, it just doesn't really do it for me.
