Yes, they can apologize for delays or losses (oh, so profusely and sincerely, I might add) all the while quietly arranging their affairs to disappear off the face of the earth and never be heard from again. We've all seen it. Kevin is still here, still doing what he can, effective or not so effective, at least he is still hammering away at the problems in one way or another, keeping up communications with us, even when he is not very successful at maintaining communications with principals in some of the failed or delayed projects.
