Seniority in broadcasting? You gotta be kidding. Maybe if you're Peter Jennings, but radio air staff come and go with great frequency (pun intended).

If I were you, I'd be careful what I said in this new guy's presence. Don't be bad rappin' the boss when this guy is in earshot. He may just have your job before you know what happened.

Regarding the relationship with the female in your group, you know what they say about "office romances". Once they go sour, work can be downright hell. If you're jealous, and want to risk a post-romance work environment, especially since you work so closely, then go after her. Lots of guys cheat. Just cause he's attached doesn't mean he is not a threat.
