Yes, I got screwed when I arrived in Bali! The immegration officers basically told me I have to pay some taxes on my surfboards (anything over 3 boards). After taking me into a small room they told me it's a 100% tax - so whatever your board is worth ($400/us) then you owe them $400 - it was BULLSHIT! But I ended up paying $50/US and I'm still bitter about it.. especially when you start roming the streets of Bali & realize how far that $50 could have gone... Oh well, lesson learned!
