Subject: Making my own medical kit?

Myself and a mate are heading to the hinako islands for a month, and were wandering if anyone had a list of contents for making up our own medical kit...

If you had any past experiances, what did you realise you needed more off? A list of contents would be great !!

Were not that keen on buying ready made packs.. or maybe we will at a last resort and then just add to them..

Any ideas?
