hi there,
We have been reading your, and wanna to replie on it.
we have a home on asu island for 10 years.Never did anny commercials about it,but as you are asking for a peacefull place, well come have a look with us.For the last 5-7 years there have been a lot of south-african surfers, and i can tell you we had some fun.our place contains a big house(Nias style)with a big balcony that is facing the ocean,a big kitchen where you can cook you one food,THE COLDEST BINTANG BEERS on the island,5 bungalows that fits 2-3 people, with your one balcony to the ocean,a bathroom,(or mandy like in indo)and toilet.
The main idea is,relaxing, good music,a good library, cold beers or softdrinks, good surf, and having fun!
There are a fieuw shops on the island but you do better to bring your one food with you,you can buy the bassic stuff, like coffee,the,milkpowder,soap,ect.....
Local people also like to cook for ou if you want and it is so cheap,or do your laundry, things like that.
you can buy fish from the fisher men,or lobster,or going out for a fishtrip with them.
Annyway, its a nice pleace to be,and we are still in Belgium but are leaving the end of october to ASU,so if you feel to stay in our bungalows its a fieuw us dollars,so not expencive, you are always welcome, for the moment it is still closed,so maybee see you on ASU,o yes the name from our place is ASU JAYA you can ask for patrick and his wife chris
SEE YOU and good luck with the boattrip.
PS:take your malaria medecin with you it is welnowing that in Sumatra there is that stuppid muskito, dont wurry,if you take your precoursions it is not a problem, after 10 years patrick had it only 2 times.
