Or the 1976 summer tour when they had the pyramids on stage . i got to say hello to larry dunn . that 5 seconds made my night . he was on stage with andrew woolfolk warming up . I remember that as plain as day . Yesterday,I went out and got my tickets for EW&F/Chicago at the Shoreline Amphitheatre (Mountain View,California) on September 3!! I got some pretty good seats too.I may also try to get tickets for the Sep.2 show,which is also in my area,but at a different venue.
Has tickets gone on-sale in your area yet? Did you get good seats? Anyone going to more than one show? Let me hear your stories!!

Say what you want.. for many years these guy's were an asset to the elements I enjoyed seeing them on stage. yes I miss seeing Maurice with EWF. But Robert did a great job filling in vocals. The dancers were not needed. Danny's percussions(Not to mention his exotic appearence) were awesome. seeing Johnny & Bobby together on guitar was a show in it self. They will be greatly missed. anyone know what they are up to now?

Looks like the Grammy Committee got a little confused with who should receive the "Best R&B Group of Duo with Vocals" category. I expected a response from EWFFANS.com but not one with such a defensive stance but more of one of support and cooperation. Acting defensive is not a good portrayal of character. So in this email I will clear up all the interests and put closure to this inmature feud.
I sent this message out not because you had been getting messages on your forum board but because I get several emails a week from fans asking me why EWFFANS.com happened to launch the same day, happen to have similiar song intros, happen to have a similiar template so I sent an email out to all the fans registered and the forums which we support with the exception of Homdrum but we are working to put a joint venture in place with them. If you read my message again you will notice that I said that we within the organization are making sure within legal guidelines that no one else makes false allegations about being official and we didn't define who was or wasn't stating they were. Your site doesn't say official, true, but it doesn't say unofficial either and if I was a fan new to the scene I wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless I asked around and I as a professional don't want any more fans to have to assume they are at the right site. All other supportive sites have endorsed Elementsvipclub on their sites with the exception of yours who claims to post all the latest news releases as they happen about the band but apparently you feel the launch of an official website was important to the fans who visit your site. In your links section you mention everything but the official fan site, So I ask WHY? You will see described in the paragraphs below the answer.
Please admit to the forum the truth of what happened. You approached me with an offer to put up a website very similiar to the one that is up now for free but when I discussed with you all the features EWF wanted to have available to their fans, which was my mistake because you used them, and you gave me a invoice for up to $15k. So EWF decided to go with what they currently had in place since the webmaster for Elementsvipclub was already in the process of creating what you see now. I offered you and your partner the ability to become moderators of elementsvipclub and you turn around and publish your site anyway by approaching Ralph to support you as a tool to promote his album Audio Caviar.
As far as "who copied who" in the news and media releases I say it doesn't matter because the point is that we get the info to the fans who want to know, neither of us are the Associated Press so the direct point is to get the news to the public and into the hands of those who care. I would have hoped in the future that our sites can work together but apparently you choose to make this a competition in which EWF doesn't want to participate so I can officially state that EWFFANS.com will not recieve any support from anyone within the EWF organization, unless Ralph chooses to continue to promote his album via your site, and this is from management directly.
I wish things didn't come to this but I asked personally for the two of you to work with EWF as moderators with full VIP access to all shows and venues and help conduct interviews and other fan related fun tasks but you chose to work as a seperate entity so we must work in the same manner.
Why I ask would you want to create yet another option for fans to go to as if the multiple fan sites already out there wasn't enough when you knew before anyone out there that there was an official site being built? If EWF had $15k to spend with no webmaster in place already then we would have considered your site but because we decline the offer you decide to become a competitor to the legacy and what it is trying to accomplish to give back to the fans. Thus the reason why you don't mention the official site or any other site on your "For the Fans, By the Fans" site. Upon completion all sites, supportive or not, will be mentioned in appreciation for what they have done for the legacy over the years and if you choose to be the alternate avenue for the legacy then I hope you will do the same.

I'm excited to see the early success of the site and I am working vigorously to get the rest of the band's log-in's done. If you click on the links page you will see which guys already have user names.
For the CURIOUS this is the only OFFICIAL EWF FAN SITE.....though there are many others out there that are very supportive the recent emergance of EWFFANS.COM strikes as a complete shock to all of us within the EWF organization as well as the dedicated fans in which confusion has been caused. Please believe that i'm doing everything I can within the legal guidelines to make sure that they don't cunfuse their site with being affiliated with EWF as a whole. TheThe latest news, current promotions, contests, and all merchandising will only be supported at this site.
We want to send extended thanks to Voy.com, homdrom.com, EWF's black planet page, and countless others who have carried the torch in lieu of this site being built and we urge that you continue to view those sites and support their causes. Some of the other ''pretend'' sites who floss the legacy in order to be competitive we want you to strongly challenge the moderaators to show you the EWF support as this one has shown so far.
I again here about the questions of the 25.00 fee to join the site and I remind everyone that the fee is a promo to help promote the new album, draw awareness to the site and unite the fans of the legacy. In return you will get 24hr EWF radio, a live chat room, meet-n-greet passes at EWF shows, an exclusive fans only t-shirt, copy of the new CD Illumination, and more to come. EWF is taking a loss on the promo but they owe that to the fans who have truly supported them over the years. As you can see this is the free registration allows you to visit the forums and get to the galleries, shops and news. The full registration will begin early January or earlier with all the new cool features.
