Alice,

I'm so sorry to hear that this national tragedy has personally affected someone that I know. My thoughts are with you and your family. I hope that your son and the rest of you will find the strength to get through this difficult time.

I was on vacation when all this happened. Actually, I was on a plane headed to Las Vegas when we were forced to land in Denver. My parents & I didn't get any of the info until about four & a half hours after it happened. We were just as shocked as those who watched/heard it live. Now knowing that there was someone on board who had ties to someone I know will make it even more difficult for me in the future.

This is such a terrible time, but we must be strong and rely on one another when we can't be. The good WILL win out in this battle.
