Perhaps not you, but I do. I'm not saying what I think was to have happened, I am telling you the actual original plan.

As for the tragedy bit, in other tragedies you would be right, but this is Joss we're talking about, who always has to put his own twist on things. In the plays you speak of there was but one hero, in BTVS there are several.

As for WTP, if he is a writer or Joss himself, which is possible, then you you should trust him even less then before, because Joss doesn;t give away info, he confuses and disorients people. So you might want to be asking yourself if he is leaving breadcrumbs to help you onto the right path, or leading you off into the woods...

Remember all the Xander information that came out in season 5? Well it wasn't a simple case of wrong info, it was simply scrapped. Believe it or not.
