Okay, a few more thoughts. (see, once I get started, it's hard to shut me up.)

So we know (or think) now that Cordelia and Drusilla sing songs of things to come. It's interesting to think that Drusilla may well have ended up like the colonial girl that Skip introduced Cordy to, whose visions killed her, if she hadn't been vamped! So if Dru's visions are from the PtB, then that would be her *higher purpose*.

So Drusilla would be the shark (I think this was said already) with the PtB using her (sort of) by giving her visions.

And then we have the playground. Drusilla, speaking to Angel: "you can't hurt me, can you?" and "the lamb is caught in the blackberry patch." maybe these things aren't even relevant, though... the map is not the reality. and the playground is the representation of the past, not the actuality. so what happens in the playground? drusilla finds a boy, talks to him about her mom, and intends to feed on him, but angel intervenes. drusilla reminds angel of the pain he caused her, and knows he won't let himself hurt her anymore. he tells her to leave or there will be trouble. (okay is this the right track at all, b/c i'm all befuddled.) i can only think that some kind of "funhouse mirror" version of the playground scene will happen... Drusilla will find Xander, and Angel will try to save him, but Xander won't allow himself to be saved?

my last thought for now: #1. Xander's pride is his character flaw, which we already know. As for the three leading and one deceiving, here's my thought: his Love, Loyalty, and Courage will lead him to do something that his Pride deceives him into believing is the right thing.

please say some of these (and which ones??) are right! :)
