quit dissin' the youth, they rule. i love the way each one of their stupidly indulgent, boring songs manages to completely suck ass like no one else quite can, and i really respect how thurston moore has taken being a complete dickface to levels most people wouldn't dare to explore. and if there's one band who i love even more than sonic youth it's gerling. what a fine band!

but you know, these are just my opinions. i'm sure people would look at my reef and skunk anansie albums and say they're rubbish, so i guess it's all a matter of taste. still, nothing tops some latter day placebo. political rock? yes please!
