Subject: Every girl in every girly magazine can't make me feel any less alone...

He had woken late with a pounding headache but after a hot shower, a big breakfast and about a half a pot of black coffee, he was feeling slightly more up to snuff physically, but not mentally. He was livid at himself... he couldn't remember much from the night before except the crucial moments - the kiss, the drunken revelation, and most importantly, the last look that Lacey gave him when she dropped off the asprin and water for him at his bedside. A look of complete heartbreak and utter disappointment. He had really let her down. He'd beaten himself up all day and now was waiting here to hear the results of the show - the first show of the new year was always a big deal, and he knew she was excited. He also had come to some of his own conclusions to share with her. She wouldn't be any happier, he supposed, but he couldn't live with this guilt for the time being.
