He was mostly dumbfounded for a minute... not seeing her everyday, remembering how beautiful she was, and loving, caring... genuine... since he wasn't faced with those things everyday, it had been easier to convince himself that she was better off without him and put aside the deep hollow ache. His mouth hung open for a moment or two and finally he summoned some words. "Maria sent this down for you..." He shifted a little bit, his eyes darting to Harvey and then back to her. "Yeah... everything's fine... are you... is everything okay with you?" He had heard reports through his mom, of course, but one could only scratch the surface with those.
