Subject: She nodded with a little grin and headed her mare towards the field... she didn't compete much anymore, was very happy to be instructing and building a facility, but she was a formidable rider nonetheless that put most to shame. She put her mare through the paces and aimed her at an easy artificially made brush jump, checking her and trotting a circle so she could spot Lacey as she took her mare over a few.

  • Lacey grinned in return and followed her through the clearing into the feild that held the first few fences- a tricky cofin jump intot he next feild and the next part of the course. Lacey took Ruby around the feild at a trot on each rein and then got a nice working canter out of her before she set her up for the log, it was a decent size and fairly wide but very approachable. The mare had always backed off her leg when they started her but they'd taken things slowly and built her confidence and now the mare was soaring over things. She cleared the Log with a huge scopey jump and Lacey cantered a circle before taking her to the tiger trap. She loved training and riding new horses, she loved the challenge and she loved seeing them develope- but it was something you needed a good reputation to do as a career and Lacey was only at the beginning of hers.
