  • He shouldn't have let it, but his face fell considerably when she finally spit the words out, his heart sinking just about as low, right into his stomach. His eyes darted for a moment, not allowing themselves to meet hers. He was the one who had broken up with her, he shouldn't be feeling so bad - he had encouraged her to find someone that wouldn't treat her so poorly, but it was perhaps that it was Harvey and not some random fellow that he didn't know.
