Author: Robert/Lacey
Subject: He watched the girl and then his son with some suspicion but didn't follow it up. He simply brought his drink to his lips and remained silent- nodding a little as if in agreement. "Any plans for the future?" Lacey sat down close to ryan with her fingers still weaved gently with his, watching his father unsurely, blushing a little at Ryans lies. There was every chance she could graduate next year though- she was certainly bright ebough. "I turn sixteen next week actually... I skipped eigth grade" She glanced to Ryan with a soft smile, hers wasn;t a lie... " I'm thinking about phsycology... or criminology"

  • She looked over to see her husband nodding approvingly, almost rolling her eyes to herself. She was much more interested in the girl herself, her origins, not where she was going with her life, how potentially large her bank account would be when she was finished with it. Robert thought of other things too, she knew, besides money, or she would not have married him - he had a heart in there somewhere, but he often appeared pompous and rude. // He nodded a little bit, offering a convincing smile to his father. His mother, he knew, probably didn't care, but this wasn't about his mother right now. It sounded bad when she said it, fifteen and eighteen, quite a gap, but she wasn't like other fifteen year olds, that was for certain - she'd far surpassed them in maturity and life experience.
