Subject: "I'll go on pat leave when you get close. No worries, sweetheart." He assured her easily - after his vacation, he would give his boss the heads-up, but knew it wouldn't be a problem. As long as he had a note from her doctor to prove that she was really pregnant, he could take up to a couple months atleast of paid paternity leave - enough time to get her through the last little while of the pregnancy and the first little while of the baby's life.
