• He was home finally and so happy to be. Things had gotten a little crazy about mid-week, but other than that - it had just been steady, busy work. His bag slung over one shoulder, he left the windows in his car down and the doors unlocked - he loved the security around here - he shoved his keys into the pocket of his khaki shorts and headed slowly up the path towards the house. • "Good...." She smiled softly, pressing a kiss to his lips for a long moment before she sent the kids back off to play. "Made your favorite dinner, it will be ready in about forty five minutes..." "The kids and I went to the zoo with Miguel, over my 'rents for dinner and then I went to the doctors and found out I was pregnant because I thought maybe I had the flue...oh and lemonade, the minute maid kind that I like, you know? It was on sale a twenty four pack of 3.99 at the grocery store so I got that. • "I'll go on pat leave when you get close. No worries, sweetheart." He assured her easily - after his vacation, he would give his boss the heads-up, but knew it wouldn't be a problem. As long as he had a note from her doctor to prove that she was really pregnant, he could take up to a couple months atleast of paid paternity leave - enough time to get her through the last little while of the pregnancy and the first little while of the baby's life. "Yeah, the twins they were born during a really bad snowstorm and we were stuck, no way to get anywhere so Seb had to deliver them. Other people's kids were hard enough - he'd done it a couple times over the years when there hadn't been time to get a woman to the hospital, and that had been nerve-wracking enough.
