Subject: Question about ep 1.1

Moby straps Ian into the dolly, but the way he does it is careless. In the end, Ian just bends his knees to break the one piece of duct tape binding his legs. There is no way Moby could have honestly thought that would hold Ian. So what was he doing? Testing Ian's loyalty to Irons? Wanting to see if Ian would let him kill Kenny?
