I have to agree with Donna's assessment. [Sometimes *really* old computers can't process video fast enough, but if you got yours within the last few years, you should be ok.] Another possibility is that your codec files are corrupted or you don't have the right codecs; re-installing windows media player can fix that.

Here's a trick: sometimes you can change the extension on the file from .wmv to .mpg and then play it in windows media player without a problem [but this will NOT work if you try to play it in another movie application like quicktime or music match]
