Subject: Salt of the Earth Tourney

Salt of the Earth are holding a tournament on the weekend of 24th - 25th of August, time TBA.

The invitation from the ORPA Boards is as follows:

An Invitation

By Salt of the Earth

We cordially invite you to
An afternoon of sport.
Of swordsmanship and spell casting
And crafts of every sort.

The village known to all as Cove
Shall hold this tournament.
We hope to see you one and all
Attend this grand event.

Standard 'Terms of War' apply.
You should know them off by heart
And if you don't then learn them fast
Or you'll be asked to depart.

No entry fee is asked of you.
Prize money has been set.
But if you wish to donate more
Your act will be well met.

There will be divisions three
With judges to call the shots.
One vs one. Two vs two
And finally lots vs lots.

The event is to be held
On the weekend of
The 24th-25th
But if you wish to be
Part of this event, then fill out the form
And return it ASAP.

We leave you with this paperwork
And hope you fill it in
And turn up on this day of days
So somebody can win.

And one last thing that you should know
Before raising your cup.
Thanks to SoE's efforts
A bank has opened up.

Only a small one, it is true.
But big enough to store
Your bandages, reagents, prize money,
And quite a good bit more.


The Tournament Rules are posted below. Note that it is not exactly as the Terms of War read, however it's close enough. At first glance it seems as though only poison rules have changed to be "disallowed", and that using hiding also is disallowed. As per normal TOW magic weapons are not allowed.
