Subject: Pacific Publish 16 - effects so far......

Here's some info from Pacific Shard and the effect Publish 16 has had there so far:


I thought you might want to know some of these things
about Pacific now...

- Bards haven't been hurt that much.. they still rule
the gold market.. still provoke just fine..etc
OSI didn't change that much with bards.

- Tons of new Slayer instruments... just kill
Lizardmen.. the instruments are EASY to get.

- All the BODs that aren't Exceptional or higher are
dull colored cloth... anything higher are Neon
shades... Large Cloth BOD have a chance of Sandals...
Large Leather above are sandals and slight chance of
Bear rugs, etc...

- PvP is trully ruined... when 5+ GM Mages run around
casting Global spells
regardless of the Blues around, that is just
mindless... all your enemies die.

- Powerscrolls are EASY to get for sure. It isn't as
difficult as they say. Stat Scrolls are difficult.
So far I've only known 1 person with +5 stat.

- Stats are jacked up hard... if you don't lock your
skill for instance... and you already have GM Magery..
you might gain +1 Int... to 101 int, 99 str, 25
dex..etc... it's tough without seesaw.

There's so many reports going around that there's a swag of bugs still associated with Publish 16.... and many are calling for Pacific to be reverted to the last backup prior to Pub 16 being released. That probably wont happen... however I hope that many of the known issues are sorted out prior to it being released on Oceania!
