Subject: Osburn stowaway on ship from England

Silas Osburn born 1798 place unknown. Moved to Ottumwa Ia in 1825. He is the son of the Osburn that stowed away on a ship from England at age 16. Came to the colonies. Joined Washington's army. Was at Yorktown when British surrendered.Silas had 12 children from 2 marriages. James my gr grandfather born Aug 30 1858 Ottumwa IA. Brother Steve was with Sherman on march to the sea. Half brother Silas Eugene Osburn founded Eugene Or. Had drug store. If anyone has any information on Silas's father (don't know his first name) from England it would be greatly appreciated.
