Subject: help me w/ my lexus!

i have a 1990 lexus ls. it runs great! however, the driver side front "air shock" has gone out. the driver side front of the car will not lift off of the ground. can this be repaired at home? there seems to be 2 spots under the hood to put the air in (one by the radiator w/ a red cap, and one in the back w/ a black cap).

if it is to be repaired in a shop, how much does the repair average?

any help is much appreciated.

thank you!
