it depends on the virus. do you know of the name of it? let me know if it's of the "marker" variation.

the virus is NOT activated unless you download it. unless you're using a program like outlook express.

gary is right if you have one of those marker viruses or you know, the ones that have been circulating around a lot lately like the love virus, joke virus, etc. they set off this chain reaction, hitting everyone else in your email box with the same file, sometimes destroying your files in the process. i got one a while ago that affected all of my .jpg files, infecting them with the virus.

did you download it?
