That is some seriously FUCKED UP SHIT! i feel so sorry for that girl :/ RAINN is fucked up! Atlantic Records is fucked up! Everyone in this world is just fucked up! That reminds me...JOHN WITHERPOON HAS STILL NOT CALLED BACK :( i will be very surprised if he ever does.

I think we should totally go ahead and start searching hard for a good RAINN speaker. i think we should get someone that either:

A) has been a rape survivor , and has been helped by RAINN
B) works or volunteers at one of the crisis centers affiliated with RAINN (that place in Orange County)
C) was affiliated with the founding of RAINN

as far as the Arthur Spivak/John Witherspoon assistance, i don't really want to rely on them for guest speaker involvement. even if they were to say "yes" i don't think they would be 100% committed. something else "more important" to them might come up and then we'll be left shit out of luck without a speaker. so yeah, let's find our speaker soon, and i'll call back John again maybe next Tuesday and ask him if he can either get Tori on the speaker phone for us or if he can donate Tori items (something that would be a really cool BONUS to our party, but not essential)
