and, i agree about adding more info about the press release about the goodies and a little about the bands, though not too much.

but i still think there should be something a little personal. i DO think people want to know the people behind the events. like, for local papers like the daily breeze, i totally think they want to know about you. because you're local. maybe noone on the radio or from the latimes cares, i think people from the peninsula reader and the daily breeze do. i know in pedro there is a LOT of appeal for a local person doing something. if its cut down to a sentence, or two, im fine with that. but i think thats all i had in the first place. the quote serves two purposes: something a newspaper can quote, and it works in a statistic. i know when we did press releases for stuff we did in 4-h, thered always be a little quote of what one of us said about our event.

but if everyone disagrees, it can go back to the boston. :P however, i dont think a newspaper is going to print a list of highlights for our event. bullet points arent really a newspapery format.
