Femme roars as she rushes to his side, nudging him gently. Lobes crease in despair, her love, her hero, were gone. Head hangs in sorrow, uttering a pitiful moan, how would she survive with him gone and his cubs in her belly? She breathes fast and hard as crystal tears streak her tangerine cheek. She lies down beside her still tiger, head resting upon him knowing he would not return. For what seems like hours she lies there, motionless and weeping over the loss of her beloved. Muscles tense as she rises, broken heart not allowing her to look upon him she trudges to the meadow knowing the cubs would come soon and she had no protector. Reality hits her as a ton of bricks in her side, he would never see his cubs...
