Subject: The golden stallion sent forth thunderous call, however it was deadened in the snowy world...

Coat glinting with soft covering of snowflakes, he half-reared, simply a show of strength. Normally soft brown eyes were steely and hard. Though he was a fair beast, he could not stand those things that were injust, and this seemed to be one such time.
He landed, hooves sinking deep into the fresh snow. Muscles taut, he snorted angrily, hooves unknowingly pounding the snow.
How dare that colt who thinks he's a stallion challenge him for every one of his beloved mares, without him even having MET him?!
OOC: I think you all know what happened with that person Amber and her character Enrique. Yes, I WAS being rude because I'm sick of mares that are rude when all you do is ask them who they're looking for. Stallions don't like each other as a general rule, and Sandstorm was following that. But now, one of Amber's other characters Spainard challenged for Sandstorm's entire HERD, and the horse hadn't even been to the highlands to look at them! I would have been ok with it if he'd been here and seen ONE mare, but having not done either of those things I am pretty annoyed. I am not going to waste time fighting with someone who probably lives on the other side of the world to me and who takes offense too easily, but I just think that the rules should be changed so that you can't challenge for entire herds, especially without even going to the highlands. I understand that Amber has quit, and also that Sandstorm won the battle against Spainard and gets to keep his herd, but I didn't get a say in the battle. Does anyone agree the rules should be changed? Perhaps it could be changed so that you can challenge for 1 mare, and the other stallion must reply within 3 days unless they've posted that they're away on hols or something, and if they don't the other stallion wins auto.
