Dax wearily eyed his partner as he walked in, devouring a sandwich. Dax had become accustomed to his partner's appetite; a side effect for all Nebulans binary bonded as Powermaster engines was an increased appetite. If they didn't eat, they wouldn't have the strength to power their Cybertrtonian allies. It was a necessary evil Dax accepted, but didn't necessarily find appealing. Especially on days when Rigger's extra-long lunchs meant he was without his main power source for so long. His attempts at humor did little to assuage Astrotrain's secretary, so Rigger merely finished his sandwich, climbed up on Dax' desk and transformed.

Dax unhooked from his back up powerpack, plugging it into one of the generator niche's the AOD structure was equipped with. The second Rigger was snapped into place, Dax felt reborn and alive. Unfortunatly, the battle which beckoned him was not a great physical task, but more paperwork. There were definite downsides to the peace in his opinion, but he attacked his duties with renewed fervor all the same.
