Hey Gary,
I almost forgot I posted this message a while back. Thanks for the response.

I have not found any other members of the 444th. In the "close but not quite category" there is a group of guys from the 70th who have a mail list on Yahoo Groups. While they don't know any guys from the 444th either, anyone who served alongside the 70th is very welcome. Look them up on Yahoo Groups.

Also, since I first posted I have also managed to get all dad's 8mm movies converted to DVD. I uploaded videos to Youtube. Enjoy them. You can find them by searching "444th" on Youtube.

I have one additional question. In one video it looked the unit was given the Army Commendation Medal, can you tell me what it was for?
