Subject: I was with 84th from January-June of '71 in DaNang

I got "volunteered" to go to Quang Tri and help the 14th Engr support the ARVN push into Laos during operation LamSon 719 for 3 months of those 5 months in country. Sent back many sitreps concerning 59th LC via teletype.
After I got back to DaNang I worked 4am-noon at in the commo center bunker manning the switchboard and radios.
I nice gig after taking 11B training at Polk in early '70 and expecting to be beating the bush in Nam. Anyone else spend their time at the DaNang beachfront 84th outfit during early '71?
