Subject: Attempt to identify Army Unit near Qui Nhon

I was in the Air Force stationed on an Army compound on a hill side south of Qui Nhon and over looking the city. I was part of a detachment operating the 439L Pacific cablehead. I believe the army troops on the compound were part of a combat engineer unit and am trying to recall who the unit was. I was there in 1969-70 with 12 plus or minus, depending on rotation, other Air Force personnel. The compound over looked a shanty village at the south end of the Qui Nhon beach and was on the ridge between a tank farm and the ocean. Access to the compound was off of the gravel road over the pass between Qui Nhon and the Quy Hoa leaper colony. I've tried to attach a couple of photos to help with I.D. but can't seem to do so. Anyone have an ideas who the army unit I was with was?
