Alright!! Silver is silver. Good find! Sounds like you found a good spot to go back to. Both places sound good. Check that well too. All kinds of things ended up in wells.
Posibly some CW relics could be in it.
I found some flat buttons, a 1900 IH and a Union cuff button around a well at a friend of mine's place. And I dug almost a whole tractor in parts at another well also.(tractor parts and farm impliments) And got covered with Poison Ivy to boot!!.LOL....But really, they are good places to look.
