Subject: Abandoned Lot

This is my first posting on this particular site by way of Glenn's invitation.

I was able to log some time recently at a site near where I work. It is an abandoned lot (1/4ac approx.) in the shadow of a church. Among 50 or so other coins I was able to retrieve some decent finds.

The top coin (that you can't see...) is a 1909 V Nickel.
Among other notable coins found that were in pretty bad shape are as follows: 1898 V Nickel, (2)1902 Indian Head Pennies, and (2)1953 Roosevelt Dimes.

The dates for these coins are as follows;

TOP: 1909 V Nickel
2nd Down: 1890 Indian Head Cent
3rd Down: 1918 Mercury Dime
4th Down: 1??? Standing Liberty Quarter

Great luck to everyone.
Jeffrey
