Most of the people I know who watch--including two lovely women who have watched the show since it began, have already quit again. I agree with them. JER(k) has lost NBC a long-time viewer. I guess, all the characters that brought the warmth of love, honesty and a true concern friend, not wanting to hop in bed with each other's friends/partners, or tried to poison or hurt another is not good enough for the show. Is Alice going to be next? I just wish, someone could step up to the plate and tell these writers/writer---STOP, we get enough cruelty in today's world, we don't need to see it go repeated on Soaps all the time. Where's the good guys, the remember"Family", where everyone knew their parents and grandparents? PLEASE DAY'S WRITERS, DON'T LET THIS SOAP GO TO THE TRASH.
