Subject: Just heard on our TV news-soap spot Author: Annabell [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 18:39:08 01/28/03 Tue Hello All: I just heard on our local TV soap update, that Chloe on Days will not sign her contract, so not only will she be leaving, but the producer has dismissed Nancy and Craig. Anyone else hear this??? I loved the way Nancy and Craig show'd their love and devotion to each other, one of the rare couples on the soaps and who would of thought, specially Craig from Craig. When Craig and Nancy first came to Salem, they were awful awful people. But since Chloe came into their life, they have been so much better. Yes, I've heard this sad news. I wanna know what this means for the Broe storyline. I love Broe, and hate for them to finally be together, just to be apart. I'm wondering if they'll recast the part so that the fans will still have Broe. I'm kinda hoping so. I love them.

It sound like they titled it," Salem won't be the same, and guess who is leaving.." Then they said all of the above, and I thought they ended by saying the 3 will not be replaced. Now, I am hoping, hoping, hoping, Chloe changes her mind and they all get to stay. Can't figure out why she Chloe, is the one calling the shots for the other 2 and possibly baby made 3 to leave. It made me feel great to see a woman's husband actually in love with her, and Nancy show'd heavier women, how to show sexyness and how a man really can react, even tho he can't sweep her off her feet and she look like a skeleton with a hollow face.. The Barbie image was smashed for that time period, and it was great. As you can tell in all soaps I just got tired of the "poor damsal/damsel" in distress, and if you can't wear a size 1, you weren't pretty or sexy enough. "Just a sound off".

I was going crazy! lol Okay, now onto the serious stuff. Yes, Nadia is leaving the show. Apparently she considered staying but only if she could have several outs in her contract so she would be able to do other projects. Apparently TPTB refused to do this because it would compromise their long-term storyline, so instead we have to say good-bye to three wonderful characters. I have heard that Kevin (Craig) and Patrika (Nancy) will be put on recurring status (like Doug and Julie and Mickey and Maggie), but that may just be a rumor. Even though every thing seems to be set in stone right now, a lot can happen in three months. There's always a chance Nadia will change her mind, but I'm not counting on it, and I highly doubt the role will be recasted. There's a rumor going around that the writers may toy with a Brady/Nicole romance in the future to see if the chemistry between husband and wife (Kyle and Arianne) will flow over onto the screen. Who knows what will happen. We'll just have to wait until May to find out.
