Subject: Chloe's Departure (Spoilers)

I found the following at Weirdwendz' site. She apparently got it from a very reliable source, and when you think about it, this just makes the most sense, even thought it really, REALLY, REALLY sucks! Here ya go:

As of right now, the writers plans are to have Chloe killed off. And this is what is planned to happen, here are incerpts of my aim chat with my friend,

-Her bone marrow transplant is a complete and total success. She and Brady are happy and in love.

-But she gets caught in the Dimera/Black/Brady crossfire.

-There's a car accident.

And I was told she gets killed in the car accident.

*Please note that altho these are planned, nothing has been taped yet, but this info does originate from a setsource.

I mean think about what Brady and Chloe have. There's no way either one of them would break up with the other, and if Chloe did go to Juliard, I have a feeling Brady would follow her. I'm sure Basic Black has an office in NYC. And I really don't see Nadia coming back. She has so much talent, and I doubt if she wants to make a career out of being a soap actress. It reminds me of John and Isabella. The actress who played Isabella wanted out and didn't plan on returning, but John and Isabella's love was so strong, there was no way it would be credible if she just left him and Brady. Same thing with Brady and Chloe, except there's not a baby involved. Wait, there kind of is. Her baby sister. Oh man, I'm on the verge of crying my eyes out already. Why couldn't they reach a compromise so Nadia could stay? This just really sucks. :-( Even though it's from a reliable source, I hope they decide on something else. If they don't, there's gonna be a lot of crying going on these next few months. :-(

I know, Jacqui. I wish they would, but I've heard that they had a REALLY difficult time casting Chloe's part the first time around. They probably just don't want to mess with it, unfortunately. :-(

any ideas why the part of Chloe was so hard to cast in the first place?

I think it was mainly because they were looking for an opera singer, or maybe because they were looking for a drop dead gorgeous opera singer, lol. I mean I can't picture anybody else portraying Chloe Lane. They hit the jackpot when they found Nadia.

I've been on other boards and I was surprised to see that a lot of Broe fans actually like the idea of Chloe dying in a car accident because of the Brady/DiMera feud, because if she died of leukemia, there would be no bringing her back, but if she dies because of the DiMeras, there's always a chance she'll be resurrected. I still wish her and TPTB could reach a compromise though.

Ugh! :( Ugh!

You know, this is stupid. Why would they do this crap. Just recast the part and be done with it. I want my Broe to last. Why build up a supercouple and tear it down like this? This is horrible. See, I heard about this, but I just wanted to dismiss it. Ugh! I can't say that enough.

If they can't find another girl that is gorgeous and sings opera, then create something different for Chloe. It doesn't have to be all about her singing. They could bring out another dimension to her, and Brady.

Well, whatever. I have faith that the writers and TPTB won't disappoint this veteran of Days. If I can get through a Hope Brady death, then I can get through anything. Hope is my favorite, so I base a lot of my love for the show on what happens to her. Like I said, if I can get through a Hope death, and divorce from Bo, and all the other stuff she goes through, then I can get through Chloe, or anyone else for that matter, dying off the show. 'Cept Mrs. Horton. That's gonna be pretty hard to handle when that day comes. :(

I hear you LOUD and CLEAR :-)
I feel the same way. Chloe and Brady, was a great love story, and the whole Nancy/Craig life, just made me think how great it actually was to see a professional Doctor who actually had feelings and love for his wife, and a wife that brought out the one great fact, a heavy set woman can keep the attention of her hunk of a man, with all those skinny females around. Not only that Nancy brought about fashion for heavy women and show'd no laziness. We are going to loose a great Family if the writers don't re-cast or re-negotiate that team.
We need a group, because as you said, Alice has the other open heart and acceptance of many with kindness, and she is the God send of the show, I will be depressed when we loose her, she is just like family to me.
Now, who else on that show ever stays with their family or their man long enough without forgetting the children, running off to tim-buck-too to swap kisses or a fling, that can fill those shoes?
Nancy,Craig---Nancy,Craig---Nancy,Craig...
Just venting my friends...................................

Allow me to join in, Dee. UGH!!!!! I truly hope that they decide to do something different, but if they don't, then I truly hope that Nadia decides to come back after a little while away so that Brady and Chloe will have one helluva reunion, lol.

I totally agree, Annabell. Craig and Nancy's love has never faded. The only true test was when Craig found out that Chloe was Nancy's biological daughter, but their love pulled them through that. Everybody else on that show (except Alice) has been torn apart from the one they love because of somebody else, but not Craig and Nancy. Craig's faithfulness to Nancy, and Nancy's to Craig is nothing short of amazing. It's just so sad to think about them leaving. :-(
