**scratches head** I dunno what PG-13 movies you been watchin'. I mean, simply language can get a movie rated R. Dangerous Minds is rated R only because of language ("I'm gonna getchu, mofo!") and a locker-room fight. If a movie uses "damn" two or three times, it's not going to be tossed an R rating. If it uses "fuck two or three times, then it probably will.

As for sex, I can't think of a single PG-13 movie that has explicit sex in it. Very brief blink-and-you-miss-it scenes, maybe. Top Gun, actually, is PG and it has a one-minute clip of kissing/under-the-sheets. Very brief scenes; you don't see actual humping and moaning and blarg. It's "artistically" done, I suppose, so that it doesn't really look like sex. Now, something like from The Red Violin, where you see the woman actually straddling the man and he's obviously thrusting into her and you get what is pretty much full frontal nudity at some points--that's rated R. So in PG-13, say, writing, you'd get implied sex. Doesn't actually describe anything, maybe has some dialogue, does not actually describe "the act."

And really, I'm sure nobody else on the board wants to read about the copulation of anthropomorphic mice in detail, anyway. ^^ Smut is not everyone's cup of tea, and there can be hideous legal penalties for having smut on something as public as a message board.
