Unlike baseball where you have to play consistently all year to make it the the big show, you can have moments in football that pull your ass out of the fire and that could get you to the superbowl. The Bucs didn't play well the whole year. They had some games where they looked like a high school team. Yet here they are. Yes menny, they remind me of last year's Pats that way. Towards the end of the year I'd say "Patriots? They shouldn't beat_____", and they did but then, they shouldn't beat_____. And they did. Next thing you know, they win the superbowl. That's how I feel the Bucs have played this year. 8 million(?) and all those draft choices is something to rile a fan base for sure but of the two teams, the Raiders have played a better game all year and I think deserve to win. I agree with menny here too, the Bucs will have trouble defending against Oakland and they need to get right to Gannon. I think it will be a good game anyway. It won't be one of those boring blowout superbowls. I've had a soft spot for the Raiders since Jimmy Plunkett in the 70s(back off, I know I'm old)and that's where my money is.

Hey LS? How about a wager? Raiders win and you wear the uniform nic of my choice for the next three Tubber/poet games and vice versa if the Bucs win?

Although it isn't their fault, I also think that his time with the Bucs ruined Testaverde's potential. I think Testaverde could have been one of the great all time QBs but he was so good and the Bucs at the time were so bad.
