I know you lost 35 lb (or more) and you did it without Diet Coke. I'm still drinking Diet Pepsi (even with your warnings) and I haven't lost an ounce. :(

I agree with the fact that we're sharing too much info. The thing is... I don't think we're being fed the correct info, i.e., propaganda news stories for the enemy is what we're hearing/believing. Mr. Logan asks me why I listen to the news, shaking his head and saying it's all b.s.

How can any parent send their kid to school today in Montgomery County after they splatted that warning all over? I'm not a calm type by nature, and I'd be a nut by this time. Not a good lesson to be teaching your kids, I know, but heck, what do you do?

I agree with Nolij that we should talk about fun stuff here, an escape from the daily rat race. But, the board's been kinda quiet, and this item was on my mind. Reading and writing here keeps me away from the nytimes.com and washingtonpost.com - the better choices over my local news sites. I don't care that Ben Affleck gave JLo a ring nor do I care that they might make a Sopranos movie.

I guess I need to just go out for a walk, get ready for work, and play with the puppy. Next week it'll be light at 6:00 again. I'll walk, I'll lose weight, I'll read less news. Maybe then I can give up Diet Pepsi. (nah)
