No, I'm not getting on stage and singing. :)

Okay.

I still like the game itself and the challenge it brings forth to make me creative; but something's wrong... I know too many good players who play the same style that I like!

As many of you know, I've been playing this game (Bezerk, WON, Flipside, AC) for a little over four years (wow). I have logged much playing time, and I have come to know and have been teammates with several different players with whom I have hardly had any problems.

Anyway, there's a little bit of my history. Moving on...

Personally, I don't like being put in a category outside of team play. Also, I don't like having to choose between categories (i.e. teams) within a general realm. I was put in that situation before in the WON days (I think it was WON, heh); it was not easy, and I didn't like doing it. I became a "dual". Now I know why I never did that before and will never do it again.

With the "old" crowd coming back, all of that "choosing categories" stuff has resurfaced. Obviously, I am excited to see these people because it has been too long since I've played Acro with a bunch of them. I too was there last night before the game froze up on me in the face-off of game two.

All of this being said, I think I have simply turned into an Acro purist. No one has influenced me in any way to form an opinion. This is what I think and feel.

I like Acro for the game that it is, but I'm starting to feel like I'm being categorized. I don't like it a bit. It's nobody's fault that I feel this way. It's not my fault either, but it's just how it is.

My future? Who knows?

I've been playing Slingo and Slingo-type games (esp Five Card Slingo) a lot lately. I'm in a wonderful yet long-distance (sigh) relationship, imho.

Once again, I still like Acro too. Knowing me, this will probably pass just like all of the other politics that I have encountered while playing this game for so long.

Until next time, sayonara. :)
