I think the point that Logan was trying to maake was that it's damned hard when you are in the office to accomplish the ideal goals of the position.

That said, I also respect your point of view in that those people appointed to high office should have book education to back their practical positions.

The difficulties arise when trying to apply the theory to the practical. That's all.

Welfare is a big thing in Ontario. It's a big help to a lot of people, but the fact is that there are also a lot of people that ride the system when they could legitimately get out and get a job. Don't get me wrong, I rode the system a while myself while the jobs were few and far, but I've had a job and I've paid my taxes and my complaints are not about the system, but about the abusers of the system.
