【多新闻社5日电】“天府评论”网站（www.028cn.com）的海阔天空论坛，最近刊出署名为“杨支柱”的短文《激进派·温和派·保守派》。文章认为，历史上的“成功”者，往往是中间派，即所谓温和派。(
作者列举说，美国的华盛顿是温和派，法国的拿破仑是温和派，英国的克伦威尔是温和派，中国的毛泽东与邓小平在他们上台的时候也是温和派
这是不是意味著激进主义者是错误的呢？是不是意味著激进主义者应该听从温和派的劝告，也温和起来呢？作者认为恰恰相反，“如果多一些激进者，少一些温和派，历史就会进步得更快一些。”这是因为，温和派之所以能够登上政治舞台，实现他们的政治主张，当然也得力于他们自己的力量和贡献，但更得力于激进派的力量和贡献
如果没有激进派的英勇斗争，如果不是激进派抵消保守派力量，历史就会改观，温和派又岂能得势，又岂能施展其胸中宏图？！事实上，激进主义者比温和派需要有更大的道德勇气，需要付出更大的牺牲，而个人得到的却很少。做温和派易，做激进者难。)
作者引用恩格斯的话说：“历史是这样创造的：最终的结果总是从许多单个的意志的相互”。“这样就有无数互相交错的力量，有无数个力的平行四边形，而由此就产生出一个总的结果”。这个总的结果，往往近似于温和派所设想的结果。
