Subject: Northland Darters

I have a website of my own on The Dartring (www.superiordarts.com) Your website is very informative and current, which has my wheels spinning about additions I could add to my own. I have found great resistance on a local level, due to competing amusement companies. Since I am completely independant - they all fear offering me information that may be used in combination with that of their competitors. It seems rediculas, but they fear other leagues 'stealing' their players. Are such troubles unique to this area, or am I experiencing problems that have already been worked through in your locality?

Because NDA sanctioning must be done through an amusement company, the players are slaves to the system. The NDA is little more than an offical sounding puppet of Valley - meaning, in turn - the fox is guarding the hen house! In other words, the vendor (Valley) is in control of the customer (dart players). This contradicts rule#1 in the business world; the customer is always right. Darters need to take control of their own sport. However, very few people see it they way I do.

Just offering an observation and hoping for other opinions - either here or on the Superior Darts Web Board.

Thank You,
Darrin Barker
