on a cold, wet and windy day" Sort of an oxymoron here. When it's days like that, I stay inside, and then realize the point that you're making.

November 20, 1992, I had to walk a little over nearly 2 miles home from school in a weird November storm. Such a cold November rain it was!! Understand the feeling completely! LOL :)
