 Even walked past me more than once and never said hello,
I've watched it flying by so fast my quickest was helpless.
One false move and it shot me down before I could speak;
My heart stopping yet still it continued racing forward.

It must love rocks being there in beginning and at its end;
Laughing with mortals lucky enough to suck first breath,
Then crying as they struggle hopelessly for last.
Wishing it could tell them spirit will breathe forever.
